Welcome to my website!
My name is Hevanafa. By day, I work with React. In my free time, I somehow ended up building game engines in Pascal
I make games as a hobby. I also make a game engine using a language rare enough to see these days: Pascal, with Perl as an auxiliary
My game engines are mainly for DOS, Web (running WebAssembly), and Windows, and it even works without a GPU, how cool is that?
Any popular programming languages like C++, Rust, Java, Lua, Ruby are basically less-structured Pascal to me, and PHP? Let’s not talk about that creature from the abyss that somehow became WordPress’s powerhouse
I also have some experience making games with QBJS. Go check my QBJS submission down here :D
Game Engines
The game engines listed above are written in Turbo Pascal for the DOS version and modern Object Pascal (Free Pascal dialect), compiled with Free Pascal Compiler. Starting from version 0.1.4_experimental, it’s possible to use Lazarus IDE
